Big fan of: People! Coconut likes most people he meets. He enjoys a balanced lifestyle of playtime and lap time. This little guy enjoys saying “hello” to other dogs.
Not a fan of: Unfamiliar objects and noises. Sometimes, Coconut feels uncomfortable around people wearing large coats, carrying canes, or people who are yelling.
Special features: This tiny dog sustained injuries after being struck by a car and underwent surgery at the ASPCA. He has made a strong recovery, but occasionally still feels discomfort when touched in areas where he is still healing. Our Behavior team can give you some tips to help Coconut overcome this. With guidance and supervision in his new home, Coconut will learn quickly to only use the bathroom outside.
Dream home: Coconut is looking for an adopter with some dog experience in a home with kids 12-and-up. His coat requires regular brushing and grooming.
