Tabitha, a petite 7-year-old Malamute, was rescued from a puppy mill in Montana and received care from the Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Delaware before arriving at the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in Madison, New Jersey. Tabitha is featured in the ASPCA’s documentary, “Second Chance Dogs,” which follows dogs rescued from cruel situations as they begin a remarkable journey from rescue to rehabilitation and ultimately, adoption.
Tabitha is looking for a human companion and would prefer to be the only pet in her new home. Full of spirit, Tabitha enjoys playing with her toys and running in a secure, fenced yard. If you have the time and patience to help Tabitha overcome her shyness, she will become your loyal companion.
Interested in adopting Tabitha? Please contact Angela Brown by email at MalRescueDE@gmail.com or by phone at (540) 430-8223. You can also visit the Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Delaware’s Facebook page for more information.
“Second Chance Dogs” premieres on Saturday, April 16, at 9:00 A.M. ET/PT during PETopia, Animal Planet’s pet programming block.
