The ASPCA is excited to invite you to join us for an Animal Welfare Town Hall in Las Vegas on October 1. Whether you’re a veteran animal advocate or just curious to learn more, this meeting will inform and empower you to be a voice for animals in your area!
We’ll discuss horse tripping, live animal sales at swap meets, increased penalties for animal fighting and many other new laws that improve animal welfare in Nevada.
Your hosts will be Kevin O’Neill, ASPCA Senior Legislative Director for the Western Region, and Holly Haley, Nevada State Director for The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Local animal welfare specialist Beverlee McGrath will also participate.
This town hall is an opportunity to get a firsthand account of how the 2013 legislative session improved animal welfare from advocates who worked with legislators in Carson City, and find out what’s next for animal protection in the state of Nevada.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity—register below to attend our Clark County Animal Welfare Town Hall and please pass this invitation along to your friends and neighbors!
