NEW YORK— the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) today announced that it has partnered with IBB Group of Companies to develop and distribute a collection of fine and fashion jewelry for both people and pets.

Sporting the tagline 'Heart U Back', this unique collection of jewelry created exclusively for the ASPCA is designed to celebrate the human-animal bond.  The collection will be unveiled on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) today at 5 p.m. EST (please check local listings) as the ASPCA celebrates Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.  It is also available now at www.HSN.com.

"We are thrilled to be able to share this new jewelry with the pet-loving public," said ASPCA President & CEO Ed Sayres. "Aside from being able to outwardly express a love for animals through each piece, customers will feel good knowing their purchase helps the ASPCA save the lives of countless animals each day."

A portion of the proceeds from each item purchased will support the ASPCA's mission to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.  IBB will make a guaranteed minimum donation of $125,000.

"The ASPCA's 'Heart U Back' collection of bracelets, charms, pendants, and earrings is fashionable and fun to wear, yet it also conveys a message of love," said Gavin Kovacs, creator of the collection. "Growing up in New York, I was always amazed at how dedicated the volunteers and staff at the ASPCA are to caring for rescued animals, and I was inspired to pay tribute to their dedication in a meaningful way."

Each distinctive jewelry design bears the ASPCA logo, allowing supporters to tell the world about their favorite cause. Some items include matching charms that can be worn by both people and their pets.
