Kennel Sickness
My husband and I went on vacation and put our dog in a kennel. Since we brought him home, he’s been vomiting, has diarrhea and won’t eat. Does he need to see the vet?

Loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea can be symptoms of a number of different problems. Some may be mild enough to resolve on their own, while others are serious and require immediate veterinary attention. Because your dog was recently in a kennel, he may have picked up an infectious disease. It could also simply be a dietary problem, ingestion of a foreign body or stress-related. You should seek veterinary attention immediately and be sure to notify the kennel in case other dogs who stayed there have become ill.
