Social Grooming Behavior

What is the social grooming behavior of horses?

- Poppy

The most common social grooming behavior for horses is grooming along the “topline,” which is from the crest of the neck all the way down to the rump. It is very common to see horses standing nose to tail—one muzzling the withers while the other nibbles on the top of the other horse’s rump.
