Rust
Breed:
Pomeranian/Long Coat Chihuahua
Sex:
Female

Big fan of: Lap time. If you sit quietly, Jessie Jo will climb up into your lap for cuddles. But like all puppies, Jessie Jo has plenty of energy to burn! She’ll need regular playtime throughout the day, and will need lots of exercise as she grows up.

Not a fan of: New people and places. Jessie Jo feels nervous in new surroundings and during handling. We recommend that she attend puppy kindergarten classes, conveniently offered at the ASPCA, so she’ll learn to be a confident dog. She is not used to being left alone and may bark at first, but our Behavior team can give you some tips to help her overcome her fears.

Special features: This little dog will need housetraining to learn to use the bathroom outside.

Dream home: Jessie Jo is looking for a patient and experienced adopter who will take the time to train her and introduce her to the world. We think she’d get along well with kids 10-and-up.

If you’re interested: Please call our Adoption Center in New York City at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
