Who'll Be the ASPCA's 2012 Calendar Cover Model? Cast Your Vote!
Every year, the ASPCA creates a top-quality wall calendar that we give out to hundreds of thousands of our friends and supporters. These calendars feature ASPCA team members and their adopted pets—and around the office, competition to make it into the calendar is pretty steep!
We're putting our 2012 calendar together right now, and staffers and volunteers representing all 12 months of the year have been photographed with their furry friends. There's only one big decision left to make, and we’re leaving the answer up to you: Who should grace the calendar’s cover?
We've narrowed down the field to four contenders. Check out the photos that are in the running, read a little about their sweet four-legged subjects, and then cast your vote for our 2012 Cover Dog or Cat. The pet whose photo gets the most votes will have his or her face in homes all over America!
Charlie & Lola
Sweet Lola understands life is best observed from the safe perch of her pet parent’s lap. Her big brother Charlie, on the other hand, belies his feline exterior and loves to play fetch “long after most dogs would have had enough.” |

Fidget
After a brief pit stop in Philadelphia, Fidget returned to her rightful place in the home of an ASPCA behaviorist. She’s highly intelligent and sensitive, according to mom, who wouldn’t have it any other way. |
Sid
With street smarts and a stray cat’s strut, Sid certainly lives up to his namesake, Sid Vicious. But his tough exterior and devil-may-care attitude just endear him that much more to his human best friend. |

Petey & Spike
Big boy Petey arrived at a local shelter as a neglected puppy in need of major surgery. He soon won the heart of his foster mom, who works in our Anti-Cruelty department, and then came a sweet lil’ brother named Spike. |
