Recently, we spoke with ASPCA Vice President of Shelter Research & Development, Dr. Emily Weiss, and ASPCA Senior Director of ProLearning, B.J. Rogers, about an exciting new program called Adoption Ambassadors. Adoption Ambassadors is an innovative foster program that is already saving lives! The program allows shelters to place more pets into homes and save more lives than you would have thought possible. We got Lucy when she was around two years old. She is a Pit Bull mixed with Lab. She was shy of men because she was abused and mistreated. We didn't know if we could keep her because she tried to chase the cats and dig big holes in our backyard, but now she is around seven years old, and is doing great. She is very happy with her new life.
