Rescued Dog

As many of you know, last weekend the ASPCA and responders from The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) removed more than 360 dogs from dog fighting properties in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Texas. Many are emaciated, with scars and wounds consistent with dog fighting. They’re spending their first days learning what it’s like to receive adequate care.

The dogs and puppies are safe now. They’ll never suffer in extreme heat without access to water. They’ll never be chained to cinder blocks and car tires again. And they’ll never be forced to fight.

Right now, the ASPCA is providing shelter, veterinary care, healthy food and much-needed attention and affection to hundreds of dogs and puppies. Our work is far from over. It’s a massive undertaking that will require months of food and supplies and man hours to ensure these dogs get the best possible care. Veterinary professionals, behavior professionals and so many others will be involved.

Please take a moment to watch and share our rescue video. You’ll see some of the dogs we rescued, as well as the real conditions these dogs were forced to endure.

Stay tuned to for more news to come. Follow the conversation on Twitter using hashtag #367rescue. If now is a good time for you to give, please consider making a gift to the ASPCA.

Look at the little pups tail just wagging as they are carried ,probably never touch kindly before. I just can't fathom how anyone could harm an animal ! Just can't!!

We give you a monthly donation and it is nice to see that it is going for a wonderful cause! Thank you all for the work and sacrifice you make to help these poor animals. It's easy to give money, it's much harder to do your job! I am so grateful for the ASPCA. Hugs to the whole organization!!!

Nothing is better than the feeling of being the rescuer.

The best part of this short video is seeing the tails wag of the small dogs as they are being carried away by the rescuers.

Thank you for everything you do to help these animals. It can not be said enough.

Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. As long as people are willing to watch and pay for dogfights this will continued. Thank God for ASPCA, but we need tough laws to protect innocent animals.

Cannot say enough about the wonderful work you do on behalf of these poor animals. Thank God they can depend on your organization for the help and care that they truly deserve.

I hate people that use innocent animals and treat them inhumanely. It's awful to throw any loving animal away or destroy it's trust for humans. Those people should be locked up and the keys thrown away

... i cant say how mutch i apreciate this, animals cant pay for humans stupedity!

The people who put these poor animals through this torture should be smeared in their own blood and put in a ring with the most aggressive of the fighters!!! THEN they just might see what real pain is!!
If that isn't possible, let them spend the rest of their days in prison!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ASPCA for all the love and compassion that give these animals every day. God bless each and every one of you eternally.
