Happy Christmas Eve! We hope you’re getting ready for a joyful holiday with family, friends, and of course, furry companions. But if you’ve forgotten to get a gift for someone, don’t worry—there’s still time to send an ASPCA Holiday Honor Gift.
With ASPCA Holiday Honor Gifts, you’ll be able to help abused, abandoned and neglected animals by making a donation in the name of someone you love. It’s easy, it’s tax-deductible, and it’s a wonderful alternative to standard gift giving. And, as an added bonus, each honor gift comes with a free e-card for your recipient.
Removed from properties in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Texas, the dogs—who ranged in age from just a few days to 12 years—were scarred, starving, and tethered to heavy chains with little access to food or water. Most had never experienced life without suffering, and several of them, including a Pit Bull named Ruby, were pregnant with pups.
Though Ruby had likely spent most of her life abused and neglected, our Emergency Responders were amazed by her sweet, gentle nature. After giving birth, Ruby was adopted by one of our responders—and she is now in the process of becoming a certified therapy dog who will bring love and joy to local hospitals, schools and retirement homes.
Every dollar you donate to the ASPCA makes a huge difference in an animal’s life. For dogs like Ruby, it can mean the difference between life and death. Help us end their suffering: Make a gift to the ASPCA today.
As months passed, Catsup grew strong enough to be microchipped, vaccinated, neutered and made available for adoption. When adopters Jesse and Ilana met him, it was love at first sight. Now, far from the uncertainty of his days on the streets, this kitten—whose new home came with a new name, Theodore—is happily settling into family life.
From intake to recovery at the kitten ward to adoption, every step of Catsup’s journey with the ASPCA was made possible through your support. Every year, shelters nationwide are flooded with newborn kittens during feline breeding season, but sadly, not all of these kittens are as lucky as Catsup.
When you make a gift to the ASPCA, you are supporting crucial services that curb animal overpopulation, including Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, free and low-cost spay/neuter, and innovative adoption and foster programs. The ASPCA is committed to making a difference for cats and kittens in need, and with your help, we’re making tremendous progress.
