Curious pup Otis leaves no stone unturned! This inquisitive guy loves to sniff around and explore his surroundings—there’s nothing he’d like more than a Saturday by your side roaming Central Park. This funny guy will keep you laughing with his playful antics, but, like most city dwellers, he’s in a rush to get to where he’s going!
At times, Otis will bark to let you know he wants something and may be protective of his food, but our Behavioral team is available to give you tips on how to control this behavior. Otis would do best in an adults-only household with an experienced adopter who can give him lots of exercise and playtime. Adopt Otis today!
Otis is available for adoption at the ASPCA Adoption Center. If you are interested in adopting, please call our Adoptions department in New York City at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120. To learn more about Otis, please visit his profile page.
If you’re looking for a friendly and loving kitty companion, Seven has you covered. This little lady is an ASPCA office foster cat, and she loves keeping our staff entertained with her charming personality. When she’s not hanging out on desks playing office assistant, this pretty feline never misses a chance to curl up on an unoccupied lap for a quick cat nap.
Seven can be nervous as first and may need a little space while she adjusts to her new home, but bring out her favorite laser toy and she’ll be ready for playtime in no time. This sweet cat would be thrilled to go home with an experienced adopter in a household with teens ages 14-and-up. Seven would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Adopt Seven today!

The ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in Madison, New Jersey, is the first and only facility dedicated to providing behavioral rehabilitation for fearful, undersocialized dogs, such as those confiscated from puppy mills and hoarding situations. In our regular “Pup and Circumstance” feature, we introduce the Rehab Center’s latest graduates in hopes of finding each one the loving forever home they deserve.
We’re so proud to announce that Flynn, a three-to-five year-old mixed breed dog, has graduated from our Rehab Center and is ready for a forever home! Flynn came to us last year after being rescued from a hoarding case in South Carolina, where he and 66 other dogs were found living in muddy water.
A “staff favorite,” Flynn can often be found relaxing in his fluffy bed, watching the world go by with his trademark mixture of curiosity and worldliness. He earned his nickname, “Prince Flynn,” due to his affinity for extra soft bedding atop his “throne.” He is reserved with people he does not know well, but comes alive in the presence of his good friends and is a playful, funny guy.
Flynn enjoys walks in quiet areas and would love to play with canine friends. He is snuggly with his favorite people and would be thrilled to share your couch while you catch up on the latest movies. His ideal family will understand his shy, reserved nature and have the patience to bring out the jester that lies beneath his quiet exterior.
Though Flynn was in relatively good health at the time of his rescue, he is suffering from double hip dysplasia—a painful joint condition—and is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery this month. Flynn would love to secure an adopter before his surgery so he can recover in a loving home. He is looking for a quiet household with another dog or two so he can play once his hips feel better.
If you are interested in adopting this wonderful dog, please contact the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center at (973) 377-5609 or [email protected].

Every now and then, we come across a special dog who needs a little extra help finding a home. This week, we’re focusing our Adoption Spotlight on Rocco, a sweet 10-year-old boy who is ready to find his forever family.
Rocco came to the ASPCA in October after his guardian became too ill to care for him. Staff at the ASPCA Animal Hospital promptly updated the sweet dog’s vaccines, performed neuter surgery and placed him into foster care to await adoption. Though this special pup is happily residing with his foster family, he can’t wait to join a loving forever home!
Rocco is an affectionate pooch who is a love bug at heart. This big guy is fan of naps, and there’s nothing he would love more than to curl up by your side on the couch. Rocco also enjoys belly rubs and his favorite squeaky toys. He can even give high fives! Don’t let his age fool you—Rocco loves to walk and would make a great companion on your outings around the city.
This goofball has so much love to give and would be thrilled to find a loving forever family. If you’re interested in adopting Rocco, please call our Adoption Center in New York City at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120.
