On June 1 and 2, 2013, the ASPCA was thrilled to participate in Maddie’s® Pet Adoption Days to promote adoption and save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in New York City.

Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days are held to empty community shelters, increase awareness of pet adoption and shed light on the efforts of shelters and rescue organizations to save countless animals’ lives every day.

The two-day Maddie’s Fund® event resulted in the placement of 58 ASPCA animals into loving new homes! Of these, 54 adoptions qualified for Maddie’s Fund adoption subsidies, totaling $57,000. The ASPCA gratefully acknowledges these funds, which will support our ongoing life-saving work to help animals in need.
