The ASPCA is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case of four newborn kittens found with their throats slashed. An additional $1,200 is being offered by the Suffolk County SPCA, the local animal-protection agency leading the investigation.

According to Suffolk County SPCA reports, the bodies of the four kittens—estimated to be three weeks old—were discovered on October 1 in the parking area of a business in Riverhead, New York.

“This is a truly sickening case of violent, heartless abuse,” says Stacy Wolf, Senior Vice President of the ASPCA’s Anti-Cruelty Group. “We hope the reward offer sends a message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated in our society. We thank the Suffolk County SPCA for its commitment to finding justice for these four innocent kittens.”

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Suffolk County SPCA by calling (631) 382-7722.

Please be vigilant in your community and report suspected animal abuse. Visit our Fight Cruelty section to learn which agencies are responsible for investigating and enforcing anti-cruelty laws in your area.

The POS who liberals keep saying has rights - it's ALWAYS a male who is a MF and as a teacher I could have told you when he was a student that he was a psycho! But, no one wants to hurt his feelings and you see what happens!

Nancy

You are a teacher? I'm glad the only children I have are my 4 legged ones. With teachers who have attitudes like yours, the students must be getting some unexpected lessons. Maybes you ought to go into law enforcement, you already talk the talk. Children learn from the adults around them, rarely are they "born bad". If all they are taught is bias, discrimination, negativism, that's how they will not only see the world, but also themselves. I grew up in Suffolk Co., had great teachers thankfully, and never had any who projected ideas like yours. Even if you don't talk that way in the classroom, your feelings will project themselves, and kids will pick up on them.

the real disturbing part is after abusing animals they move on to humans people like this should just get a bullet they are wasting air oh and when you find them I vote that they should be put in a room with about 10 animal lovers I personally would love to be the one to put them out of their misery

This is absolutely disgusting!!! People can be so cruel. God only knows what they did with the mama cat if they could do this to the babies!! I hope they find him and the person/people that did this should be happy that I won't be the one to find them!!!
