ASPCA Pet of the Week: Gretchen

Are you a food lover? Gretchen is, too! Don’t let her small size fool you— this petite pup has a big appetite. This sweet girl would love nothing more than to spend evenings at home relaxing by your side, especially if her favorite snacks are involved!

Gretchen may be shy at first and will require a little extra space as she warms up to her new surroundings—once she gets comfortable, she’ll be asking for treats in no time! She enjoys meeting other dogs and with proper introductions, Gretchen could even learn to make a few canine friends. Gretchen is looking for a patient adopter and would do best in an adult-only home. Adopt Gretchen today!

Gretchen is available for adoption at the ASPCA Adoption Center. If you are interested in adopting, please call our Adoptions department in New York City at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120. To learn more about Gretchen, please visit her page.

Emma

Gretchen, you are so incredibly adorable. I know a really loving, patient, good person will come along very soon and scoop you up and bring you to your new, cherished home.

Karen

Dear ASPCA - I can't thank you enough for the work you do each day. Hopefully Gretchen will be your next success story.

Lois

It is heartwarming to see a new chance for a good life for Gretchen. Thank you for all you do for the animals.

Sue

Hopefully a forever home will come along soon for Gretchen. Someone who had patience and lots of love in their heart would be perfect for her. I pray that she finds a good home, with someone to give her tons and tons of love and treats, as I pray for all of the sweet little ones every day. God bless you for your good work, and may He continue to bless these precious animals.

Barb

What a sweetie. I hope Gretchen finds a new loving home soon which she so deserves. Good work ASPCA.
