I think man should love dogs cause a dog would save his owner for something bad happening to him. I would like to see the dogs in the shelter.

i would have loved to have one of these small dogs myself. i love animals and have 5 of my own and if i had the room would probably have 5 more. you all do great work to find them good homes and not someone to just chain to a tree. i get very upset with people and how they do their animals. don't want them to care for then don't get them. you keep up the great work and god bless ya all for all you do. While I commend and am thrilled to know so many people wanted to adopt, I hope that the ASPCA stressed to the adopters how very different and how much work is involved with a former puppymill dog. I have a 2yr old shih tzu that was rescue. She's been with me a little more than a year and believe me it takes a lot of time, patience and work to rehab these dogs into loving pets. She has come quite a long way and I'm still working on some things with her.

The woman whose puppymill was raided was raided several years ago and the dogs confiscated. She got off with a slap on the wrist, and flaunted the law by starting up her puppy hell once again. I pray that this time she doesnt get off so easily and is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for each and every innocent animal that was forced to endure all the pain and suffering she put them through.

As one of the volunteers who helped take care of these puppy mill dogs and get them loaded up to go to the ASPCA (among other agencies) I believe that the "last dog" may be one of the dogs that was extremely frightened or unsocialized or possibly one of the blind dogs. I am of course not positive but I know that there were a few dogs who were going to need more work/rehabilitation before they could be adopted out.

Pray for these animals in their new homes. I myself have adopted a Saint Bernard< "Panda" from Monroe County Tennessee in April 2008, who was neglected/mistreated by her previous owner and ended up chewing her own leg off for survival. Dealing with a handicapped dog from a rescue is priceless :) We are blessed.

I am so happy some people have the guts to repoert a puppy mill when they suspect one. There is no amount of money that is worth any animal suffering the way thoes poor little dogs do everyday of their lives. I wish there was a way to shut every puppy mill down. What ever happen to people working for their money? Why use a little dog to make money for you and all you do is mistreat it? They need to have tougher laws for animal cruelty. Thesepeople need to treated the same way they treated their "so caooed pets". I am so happy every time I hear about a bust on a puppy mill. I wish I was able to take some until they were adopted, but I already have 8 dogs and 2 cats which I love very much. They are always with food and water and vet check up and I try to bath them at least once a week. Heads up to all of you for a great job that you are doing. I watch the animal planet every day and it is so sad to see the poor dogs that are picked up. Thanks for the good job. Keep up the good work

Puppy mill rescues need a completely different type of parent. They cannot be adopted to just anyone who walks in the ASPCA. They need to be rehabilitated since they suffer from post traumatic stress disorder in addition to many other health issues. I understand that they screen people but there's only so much the ASPCA can do. I fear for the future of these dogs. I don't want them adopted to a home that doesn't understand their needs. PS Damon from Virginia - there are a ton of schnauzers in your own state of VA to adopt. Go to petfinder.com and find a shnauzer that needs your help locally and wasn't so lucky to get on TV.

This is such an amazing story, I love the ASPCA and everything you do and will never stop donating to your cause. Your truly are worth every penny, seeing these animals rescued and the wrongdoers brought to justice, brings a tear to my eyes everytime.

These puppy mills have to be stopped - I have 7 rescues of my own and know I can take no more in, so donate to the ASPCA and am going to start a fund to help dogs with heartworm. There are so many animals out there who need a home, but if that is not possible why not get involved and help out at your local shelter - there is always a dog to cuddle, clean or walk!!! A spare $20 to the ASPCA will also be used to help animals in the right way. Don't take one of these puppies in unless you know you have the time, money and patience to give them a good home. The last dog I took in adores me, but after 7 months will still go rigid and look scared if I pick him up on my terms!!

I am from TN and I wish I had the chance to get one of these dogs! I would absolutely LOVE to give one or two of them a good home! I hate that this puppy mill puts a bad look on people in TN! Not everyone in TN would treat dogs this way! I am glad to see that the dogs are getting good homes!
