 ASPCA DayWe hope you had as much fun as we did on April 10, ASPCA Day. We took the opportunity to celebrate our 142nd year of service to and protection of our four-legged friends by encouraging the nation to wear orange, our signature color, and the response was overwhelming! Down in New York City’s Union Square, we kicked off the festivities by unveiling a brand-new drinking fountain—for dogs! The X-Brothers drew a great crowd as they rocked the night away, and fun was had by pooches and pet parents alike. We had a mobile adoption van, photo booth for pets, information booths—and of course, the biggest attraction, the opportunity to meet our Humane Law Enforcement officers from Animal Precinct. The evening came to a lovely close as the sun went down over our city and we watched the Empire State Building light up orange in our honor.ASPCA Day 2008: Member Photos
