He Steals Expensive Jewelry—and Hearts!
John Grogan’s adorable book, Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog, is now available in paperback with new materials and photos. So why has this New York Times bestseller received almost 1,000 five-star reviews on Amazon.com? Probably because it features a very naughty but loveable canine—and we can all relate to that, right? We love this story of a young couple’s lessons in love and tolerance at the hands—er, paws—of a 97-pound Labrador retriever. You can grab your copy at our ASPCA store!Labels: Online Store

I saw a movie trailer that there is going to be a Movie released about Marley & Me. I'm not sure of it's release date. But, it sure looks good.
I read this one. My library actually had it! Wonder of all wonders......
Anyway, it was very cute. The author's voice as he describes his experiences with this exuberant, perpetual puppy really kept me reading this book. There were many places where I laughed, a few that I related to my own dogs, and there were tears in my eyes at the end. A must read for any dog owner.
This is an excellent book and I recommend that any dog lover read it!

Marley & Me is an awesome book!! It brought back many wonderful memories, of several wonderful dogs in my life. As well as laughter & tears.
I see a post mentioning a movie.....A absolute MUST SEE!!!!!!
Read this book 3 yrs ago-every night I would sit on the couch w/my Shadow (1/2 black lab & springer spaniel) and read--I laughed, cried (more than a few times) & related to Marley's antics-
I passed along to my sisters, mother & friends-they ALL loved it-
Everyone should read this!
I am almost finished with this book and its one of the best books i have read in a long time! it make me laugh b/c some of the things in the book actuall happen to me and my 90lb dog i hope there is a movie of it that would be a good movie.
I have to say>>i don't think Ol Marley was treated very well. No matter how he injured himself when he was afraid of thunder, all the owners seemed to care about was their furnature. Not his bloody paws and nose. The wife was ready to ship him off as soon as she had a baby. And even though he almost died when they kenneled Marley, they didn't hesitate to do it again when they wanted to go to Disney World even though he was sick and on his last legs. They didn't even pay for a better room and board for him. The kennel did because THEY felt so sorry for him. When they were called to ask if they should put him down they just said yes and didn't even go to his side. When they got back from vacation and knew thier dog was on deaths door they waited til the day after they got home from vacation to get him. I don't understand how anyone could think this dog had it so well...Now if you want to read how a dog SHOULD be treated...try reading Merle's Door by Ted Kerasote! There is NO comparison! THAT book is the one that should be getting all the attention and a movie deal!
