I was appalled last night, March 17, when, upon exiting Fountain Square during the St. Patrick's Day celebrations, I saw a city worker cleaning up after the carnage that some people in our city think of as fun. On the square was a bloody corn hole board, latex gloves and several partially alive eels that even the person cleaning up was disgusted. And, this activity was sanctioned by McCormick & Schmick's restaurant, the city and the people engaged in this horrible display of insane behavior, which iincluded a 4 year old girl, of smashing eels on a board!
What kind of people are you who think this is fun? What kind of restaurant thinks this is fun? What kind of city thinks this is fun? I work, live and play in this city and I believe, and hope others do, that this is not fun but

i would love to know what, if anything is being done about the poor defenseless puppy that the US Soldier threw off the cliff. Silly me I thought we were there to show the world how wonderful and right the American democratic way of life was, sadly I think what this subhuman did greatly diminished what all of our boys have been trying to do for the last 5 years. It was one of the most troubling things I have ever seen. I sure hope you people don't just let this disgrace go unanswered. I think its really sad that we heard about this for 1 day and then nothing, and most of all I really hope that this "man" doesnt have any children, I wouldnt trust him with mine thats for sure. Thanks for your time I hope everyone doesnt forget this horrible crime.
