Adoption Diaries: Those Krazy Kids
Elyse's Adoption Diary:
Honda! I get silly just seeing his picture! I met him a few days ago and I miss him already! The big lug.
Didn't have time to take a bath this morning? No problem! Honda will be glad to give you one with his big ol' happy tongue! You just have to be willing to forgo your usual peach-scented shower gel in favor of, well, dog scent. Honda even "shampoos" hair! No tip necessary, just lots of hugs. (He doesn't turn down treats, either.)
This is Tammy. She's just 8 months old, but man oh man, is she ever a spitfire! She may just be the most active cat I've ever seen. When I took her out she flew all over the room, jumping and tumbling and being an altogether silly kitten. I gave her this feather toy and naturally, she was all over it, rolling around with it and trying very hard to "kill" it. I must not have been the only one to notice her hysterical habits, since she had lots of toys in her cage! They all have toys, but she has more than most! She may be just a kitten, but her adopter will most likely need to be someone looking for entertainment from a pet and not cuddling.
Marcel, pictured above, cried bloody murder for me to let him out. Once I did, he was pretty non-plussed. He kind of wandered about for a bit, sniffed me, sniffed other cats, and obediently returned to his cage.
Awwww, Kingston. She's missing many toes, as you can see! But she was born like that, and it doesn't bother her at all. At just a year old, she's a sweet pea! She loved to roll over for me and have a good stretch now and then. She even came when called! Kingston is a keeper.
