Adoption Diaries: American Idols, All
Elyse's Adoption Diary:
Riddle me this: Who has one eye and can love you morning, noon and night? HUMPHREY! Well, okay, that's not much of a riddle. Sorry. The point is, Humphrey is a cutie wutie putie. He's 8 years old, tiny, calm and sweet. He was recently hit by a car, but he's doing well now. He's looking for a quiet home. He'd make a great NYC apartment dog. Look at that nose...come on, now! That's a nose if I ever saw one!

This cat's name is...Sanjaya?! Now, I can see the ASPCA adoption staff having fun when naming these animals, but I don't see anything in this orange boy that's reminiscent of the infamous American Idol contestant, Sanjaya. This cat doesn't even have a mohawk! What gives?
While I was in one of the rooms playing with two orange siblings in a cage, Animal Care Technician Christina Sullivan walked in with Madison. The orange Chester and Fabio suddenly got a roommate! I was fascinated to watch the three cats get used to the new living situation. I like how Madison is sticking her tongue out in this pic. I figured I'd spare you the more explicit photos I took of the true kitty getting-to-know-you-process. By this, of course, I mean butt sniffing.
As much as I enjoy promoting our needy animals, I do love to throw in a great puppy shot when I have one. These shepherds just hit the 2 month mark. Freda, Alie, Georgie and Beth became not-so creepy crawlies as soon as I hit the floor.
