Adoption Diaries: Silly Is As Silly Does

Elyse's Adoption Diary:

I begin with a video. This is Coco, who was wearing a bow and whom I naturally assumed to be female.

But no, she is a he! Make sure to watch the last few seconds of this clip. Coco is a 1-year-old Yorkie who gets terribly excited when other dogs pass by.

This is me catching Camry at the end of a yawn. Boy, it's exhausting work sitting around all day doing nothing.

Princess is a beaut who's been here suspiciously long. She came to us in September, and was appropriately named--after all, the royal Missus has two cages all to herself. Something tells me she wouldn't have it any other way!

Here we have Marvin, 3 years. I saw him on my way out and couldn't resist opening his door. I love me a golden. Now, usually when I know I'm heading to the adoption center, I wear appropriate clothing. Which means...NOT black. But on this day I had someplace to go after, so I wore my black dress pants. Painful as it was, I was careful to avoid letting animals rub on me. That is, until I met Marvin. He spent a good five minutes trying his darnedest to get as close to me as he could, and I finally said screw it and gave in. I left covered in gold, but with no regrets.
