I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY ANNEMARTE LUCAS IS ON ANIMAL PLANET SHE DOES NOTHING LIKE INVESTIGATORS DOWD HAIRSTON,DEBBIE MCDONALD THESE AND PHOENIX INVESTIGATORS THEY WILL GO TO ANY EXTREME TO RESCUE ANIMALS,DIRT AND ALL I TURN THE CHANNEL WHEN ANNMARIE LUCAS IN ON AND I LOVE ANIMALS AND ANIMAL PLANET
When Animal Planet first aired, the ASPCA of New York city was the 'proto-type' of the show. We don't see Officer Anna Marie Lucas jumping fences, or scaling down embankments because a lot of the 'action' was cut out. The other city agencies on Animal Planet have shown more action because people wanted to see it. I think Officer Lucas is a fine humane officer and spokesperson for the ASPCA...she definitely cares for the animals she helps and is good at her job. She is my hero!! We need someone like her in my city of Akron, OH!!!
