TOP 10 HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED BY PETS IN 2006Last year, the ASPCA managed more than 116,000 calls to our Animal Poison Control Center hotline—many of which pertained to common household items, such as human medications, insecticides and veterinary medications. As we prepare to raise awareness during National Poison Prevention Week, March 18-24, the ASPCA advises you to stay alert to the top ten hazards encountered by pets.
