I dont think that people who loose intrest in their pets so easily shouldnt own one at all. and if they do anyway then they should just give them to a nice family, by selling them to someone who will love them.
Pets are not toys! Owners can't just dump or abandon their animals as an easy way out. Pets are lives just like human lives. Owners should face up the responsibilities of taking care of and training their animals. There are so many help existing that people can deploy and learn to be a responsible pet owner.
