Regarding the "Holiday Pet Safety Tips," I really appreciate the info (and that's what I was specifically looking for). However, it'd be nice if you could recommend a few live plants that are non-toxic that we could use in boughs, for those of who don't think that plastic things are just as nice.

For example, are spruce needles and or fir needles toxic? If so which ones?
Also, another site recommended using rose hips as a substitute for holly berries, which sounded like a good idea.
