GOOD DOGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAITWhen Sarah and John Hall first began looking for a dog, they knew exactly what they wanted. “We decided that a cocker spaniel would be a good breed for us,” says Sarah, “and we had actually looked into getting a dog from a breeder.”
But when Sarah started to think about it, she had a definite change of heart—and the family opted to adopt from a shelter. “Even if we didn’t get the exact breed we wanted, we’d much rather save an animal’s life,” she tells us.

hey i am new to aspca and wanted you to know that if you get a cocker spainel they might have aggression towards other dogs or might get out of hand during play. But i have 1 good question that my mother, im 18, does not agree with me about. Is a bark collar, in your eyes, cruel to the pet?
