New Video: Meet Sweet Pea
TWO-LEGGED WONDER YEARNS FOR A LOVING HOME!!!! Here at the ASPCA, we all agree that Sweet Pea is an absolute doll. This 4-year old pit mix was part of a cruelty investigation by the Humane Law Enforcement department. When her owners dropped Sweet Pea off at a shelter, she was thin, filthy, and unable to walk on her hind legs. HLE officers heard about her, and brought Sweet Pea to the ASPCA, where our wonderful vets could attend to her needs. As a result of her sad past, Sweet Pea suffers from hind leg paralysis, causing her to walk mainly on her front legs. (Oh, but she has strong front legs and loves to drag herself around!) Because of her strong will to live...and love...she was custom-fitted with a cart (donated by Eddie's Wheels of Shelbourne, MA). Watch the video to see Sweet Pea zoom around!
