Iowa Residents: Help Protect Puppies!
HF 2797 would classify "canines from licensed facilities" as a farm product. The bill would also expand the definition of "agricultural production" to include "canines from licensed facilities." Puppies are not products to be farmed and auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Please call, email, and fax Governor Vilsack today and ask him to use his line item veto powers to protect man’s best friend.

I live in Paullina Iowa at 407 S. Clark st. and the lady one house south of me just got a puppy a month or so ago she does not give it the attion it needs and infact for the last 3 days has not been home to feed or water it there is no phone number for the aspca to contact so I do not know who to contact to get this poor pup some help I have pets of my own and would never think of leaveing one of them let alone a puppy tied up with little to no atention or for three days with no food or water just an old turkey carcuse to chew on I wish I could help but can not aford to feed the poor and it needs help quikly befor it dies of starvation niglect or worse what can be done and can you help the poor pup to get out of its situation and find a loveing home ware he can be cared for properly and loveingly as it deserves
