Illinois Residents: Good News for Feral Cats!
Wonderful news! Rep. Sara Feigenholtz’s resolution recognizing October 16 as National Feral Cat day has passed the House. The House endorses Trap-Neuter-Return as the most effective, humane method of reducing the feral cat population in Illinois.

1)Rabies virus- fatal in humans
2)Psittacosis –bacteria- parrot fever – fever, pneumonia- fatal in humans
3) Campylobacter- bacteria -diarrhea- fatal in humans
4) Ringworm fungus- round, scaly eczema-like skin disease
5) Conjunctivitus (sporotrichosis)- swollen eyes , lymph nodes
