Macadamia nuts can cause weakness, depression, vomiting, tremors and hyperthermia in dogs. Signs usually appear within 12 hours of ingestion and last approximately 12 to 48 hours.

I really love Rupert! I would love to adopt him in a heart beat bc he would make a wonderful member of my family bc I have a dog named Stella who would love someone to play with!! He looks just like my 16 yr old shepherd mix I have now...I live up in albany though so I usually go to my nearby shelter where I used to volunteer, plus it doesnt say if he gets along with other dogs...I hope he finds a good home tho

Jasmine, I know that some people can be very cruel at times. But don't let that stop you from being a friend to others.It's their loss for missing out on a chance for being a friend. If you know someone that has a dog,or a kitty, ask if you can walk it or play with it. There's a lot of info on the ASPCA site that could help you. Check it out.

It was a pleasure of fostering a black/tan hound in my pack for a short time. He was very active, friendly to the other dogs. Very lovable. Loved chasing a ball.He was adopted, and went to a loving family. I really miss all my little friends.
