Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble, but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.

Walter is so cute!!!! i would so adopt him if i could. sadly though, i'm not aloud... only cuz i already have (in a way) 3 cats. they dont live together... or at least not right now. two will be in the future. needless to say, i'm going to become a cat lady...

Walter is luscious!!! If only I could adopt one more cat! I have two FIV+ cats and one non-FIV + and they all live and interact together just fine. They eat from each other's bowls, groom, etc. FIV is not easily transmittable--usually as the result of a bite wound so as long as your cats don't bite each other--and most don't--Walter should be able to live very well with other cats.

Kim: Yes, as long as they don't fight with each other. You should research the risks of positive and negative cats living together on a reputable website, but generally, they have to bite each other, mate with each other, or the mother has to pass it to her kittens for there to be a significant risk. Hope that helps.

with a city as huge as NYC, there has got to be at least one very lucky person with a big heart who wouldn't mind sharing their nest with Walter here. probably best in a single pet home, but could live very harmoniously and safely- with the right precautions, with more than one pet in the household. come on NYC...give sweet Walter a good, loving home soon!

I have an FIV+ kitty named Punkin, he was a feral that another kitty that adopted us saved from the cruel winter of 2001-2002. Sadly his buddy & savior passed away, but good ol' Punkin is still doing well & is my husband's bed fellow. Please won't someone give Walter a chance? Just keep him seperated from the other cats by installing a cheap screen door & put plexiglass on the bottom to keep risk factors slim to nil if you have a multi-kitty home.
