The ASPCA Animal Hospital (AAH), located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, offers high-quality, affordable veterinary care to animal victims of cruelty and neglect, homeless pets awaiting adoption and owned animals. The Hospital provides medical care, forensic support and rehabilitation for animal patients.
AAH has three full-time internal medicine specialists on staff, who are experts in the management of a wide spectrum of complex diseases. Our board-certified surgeons conduct a full range of veterinary surgeries. ASPCA emergency doctors and our well-equipped Intensive Care Unit are ready to handle even the most life-threatening veterinary emergencies.
In 2014, our highly skilled veterinarians conducted pre- and post- adoption exams for more than 1,900 animals from the ASPCA Adoption Center. After receiving top-of-the-line medical treatment at AAH, the adoptable animals in our care are given a second chance and the opportunity to experience lives as healthy, happy pets.
