Lives Saved: The number of animals transferred to rescue partners from Philadelphia Animal Care & Control has increased for the 4th consecutive year including a 20% increase of the number of animals accepted by the PSPCA.
Spay/Neuter: A major focus in 2007 was working to stop overpopulation with over eight different organizations offering low-cost spay/neuter and/or Trap Neuter Return services in Philadelphia.
The University of Pennsylvania Shelter Animal Medicine rotation started fully in 2007, seeing about 200 patients a month.
