Saturday, August 18, was a special day for our ASPCA® Mission: OrangeTM partner, Philadelphia SPCA. An estimated 25,000 animal lovers—many wearing orange ASPCA wristbands (and not just on their wrists!)—descended upon Coatesville, PA, for the Animal Planet Expo. The Pennsylvania SPCA was on hand to offer adoption opportunities and host an “Ask the Vet” consultation booth for the public.
The ASPCA’s very own Dr. Louise Murray—Director of Medicine for Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in New York City—answered the public’s questions for three hours in the Fresh Step® Litter/PSPCA Pet Den. But the most treasured moment of the afternoon arrived when the PSPCA was awarded a $10,000 check in recognition of their partnership with ASPCA® Mission: Orange™.
