Fall in Love: ASPCA Adopt-A-Shelter Dog Photo Contest
Who has your dog fallen in love with—besides you that is?
Does your pooch pal around with species other than his own? Does he romp with the neighbor’s cats or let your bird perch on his head? Does he go out to pasture with your cow or horse, or snuggle up to your guinea pig? This October, for the ASPCA Adopt-A-Shelter Dog photo contest, we want you to catch your dog in the act of interspecies affection—send us your best shot of those open-hearted pooches who’ve made friends outside the canine community. The top five winners—selected by ASPCA staff—will receive an ASPCA Prize Pack and be featured on our website. So get clicking—the deadline for entries is October 31!
Submit Your Photo!
Rules
- You must be at least 18 years old (please read our Privacy Policy).
- You must be a legal resident of the United States at the time of contest entry.
- You must be the sole owner and copyright holder of the photo(s) you submit to the contest.
- By submitting your photo to the Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month Photo Contest, you give us an irrevocable perpetual royalty-free right to use your photo(s) to promote our mission.
- Your photo will not be returned.
- You may submit only one photo. If more than one photo is submitted by a person, all photos will be disqualified.
- Deadline for photo submissions is October 31, 2009.
- Winners will be notified at the email address they provide by November 13, 2009.
- Prizes: Five winners will receive:

3. Large Multicolor Rope Toy
4. Fantasy Animal Squeak Rope Toy
5. Orange ASPCA Hat
- Winners will be determined by a committee of judges at the ASPCA.
