At the request of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®)—in conjunction with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police—is assisting in the forensic evidence collection, removal, transport and sheltering of as many as 3,000 fighting roosters from three counties spanning Queens, Kings and Ulster, N.Y.

The ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) announced today that dogs seized last month from a substandard breeding facility called Dream Catcher Kennels in Nancy, Ky. will be transferred to Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) and Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) in Columbus, Ohio, to be made available for adoption.
