FidoPharm Donates More than 50,000 Doses of PetArmor to the ASPCA

FidoPharm®, the makers of PetArmor flea and tick treatment, has recently donated more than 50,000 doses of its product to the ASPCA, including 40,000 doses to our stationary spay/neuter clinic in Queens, New York.

Our Queens clinic offers spay/neuter services for qualified animal rescuers and humane organizations with free-roaming/feral cats and rescued dogs and cats, as well as emergency walk-in services. PetArmor, a fipronil-based flea and tick treatment, will be offered free of charge to cats and dogs in need of treatment at the clinic.

Additional doses were made available to the ASPCA’s Onyx and Breezy Shefts Adoption Center, Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital, Humane Law Enforcement department and Field Investigations and Response Team to help ensure that animals receiving care through these other ASPCA departments and initiatives receive the important flea and tick treatments they need to live happy, healthy lives.

In support of our shared vision that pets deserve the best care, FidoPharm is urging all animal advocates to take part in their national awareness program to highlight the importance of flea and tick prevention and other preventive pet health care. Simply log on to facebook.com/petarmor, “like” the page, and FidoPharm will donate $1 to the ASPCA (up to a maximum of $100,000) through October 31, 2011.

Together the ASPCA and FidoPharm are committed to providing all pets with quality health care.
