Janice & Kenya
ASPCA Animal Hospital since 1994
Kenya was found on a NYC street and brought to the ASPCA. She had multiple pelvic fractures and both her ankles were shattered. I was her doctor and amazed at how sweet and loving she was, despite being so broken. Coincidentally I met her again after her surgeries to fuse her ankle joints and was again struck by her loving disposition. Our family was ready for a cat, so we fostered Kenya through her recovery and then adopted her in August 2011. She has nuzzled, licked and rubbed her way into our hearts and home. Our oldest boy is her special human, and she sleeps with him every night. She has relearned how to jump, by getting into his bed nightly!
