Howl & Hike at Horseshoe Lake, New Jersey, Will Have Celebrity Appearances

The 16th annual Howl & Hike dog walk event will take place on October 10th and will have two celebrities in attendance, according to the event's press release.

Lorenzo Borghese, who was on ABC's reality show �201c;The Bachelor�201d; and is now the founder and president of the Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa, will be in attendance, and singer-songwriter Eric Hayes will be performing during the event.

The news source reports that a costume contest for pets will also take place, and everyone will be able to enjoy a wide range of treats and other services offered by pet vendors.

The proceeds from the event's registration fee will go to Noah's Ark Animal Welfare Association, which has been serving the local community for over 40 years with adoption and animal care services.

Last year the event attracted more than 400 people and 270 dogs and raised more than $15,000 for the shelter, according to the news provider.
