Rescued Neglected Pit Bull from Overgrown Yard

Today it seems like so many people are scared of Pit Bulls, but I just don’t get it. I simply love them—especially my boy, Tobby. This is his story. Last month I saw a Pit Bull puppy tied to a short, thick chain in a small backyard full of over grown weeds. When I got closer, I noticed the pup was very skinny and had lost most of his fur. While I was nervous to take action, I couldn’t just walk away. So, I went to the front of the house and knocked on the door. A man answered and I asked him who the dog belonged to. He told me the dog was his, but that he wasn’t interested in caring for him anymore. He then told me that I could take him. I couldn’t believe it—this poor dog was just left outside to die. I went out back, carefully stepping around piles of feces and unchained the poor dog. After medical attention and a big dose of TLC, Tobby became a healthy, happy pup with all his fur!
