ASPCA Pet of the Week: Sad Songs Say So Much

Rihanna

Update: Rihanna was adopted! Check out other cats available for adoption in our adoption center.

Looking for a get-along gal? Check out Rihanna—she's a petite, two-year-old kitty who enjoys life on the mellow side. She came to us with a bite wound on her tail—ouch!—a result no doubt of her previous life on the mean streets of NYC. Now she's all patched up and healthy, and looking for a forever pal to make her happy.

If you're interested in adding some sweet sauce to your animal family, please call our Animal Placement department at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120. Or to check out other animals looking for homes, visit our Adoption Center online.

****Got Facebook? Won't you please donate your status to Rihanna today? Just copy and paste the following message onto your profile status to help spread the word that this kitty needs a home!

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this blog. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say that you've done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog! how much compensation for head injury

Very interesting article. The post affects many "burning" issues in our society. It is impossible to be untouched to these problems. There are a lot of articles out there on this particular point, but you have captured another side of the thing. This post gives the light in which we can observe our real life. I want to talk to the local Humane Society and see if they would help up with the cost. Then we would continue to feed them and care for them until their time comes, naturally. Unfortunately, this morning we found one of the itty, bitty babies dead on our front porch.

Congratulations Rihanna! I hope your new home is a happy one. We have more than a dozen + feral cats around our home. we feed them as I won'r watch them starve to death. If I could afford to have them all spayed or neutered, I would. I want to talk to the local Humane Society and see if they would help up with the cost. Then we would continue to feed them and care for them until their time comes, naturally. Unfortunately, this morning we found one of the itty, bitty babies dead on our front porch. This is something that will tear me apart if it happens frequently. God Bless all the people who work for and support the ASPCA. When my finances improve I will give all I can to ease the pain and suffering of the abandoned and abused animals in this country and around the world. Love and hugs to all the lonely animals, out in the cold. Sue Busk
