Stationary Spay/Neuter Clinic
In May 2011, the ASPCA took another progressive step toward ending pet homelessness with the opening of a dedicated spay/neuter clinic in New York City for animals managed by rescuers and humane organizations.
This facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment and staffed with expert medical and administrative personnel. High-quality spay/neuter services are provided to caretakers and rescuers of feral and adoptable cats and dogs at very low cost. Animals can be brought directly to the clinic by a registered rescuer or through our transport program.
Standard treatment includes:
- Spay/neuter
- Rabies vaccine
- Tattoo
- Nail trim
- Ear tip for feral cats
Additional services provided (at additional cost and upon request):
- FVRCP vaccination for cats
- DA2PP vaccination for dogs
- E-collar
- FIV/FELV testing
- Microchipping
- Treatment for fleas, ticks and ear mites
Spay/Neuter Transport
The ASPCA’s dedicated clinic works in tandem with our transport service, which provides free rides to spay/neuter candidates including feral cats and qualified animals from local rescue groups and humane organizations. Our climate-controlled vehicles were specifically designed to provide safe and comfortable transport for dogs, cats and community cats in traps.
We offer two FREE options for animal transport to and from the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic:

The ASPCA is proud to have cultivated relationships with over 100 animal rescuers, groups and shelters in New York City. Animal rescuers are vital to the welfare of animals in New York City, and the ASPCA has tailored a program to accommodate the varying needs of rescuers and the animals they serve.

Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive TNR certification, which entitles you to low-cost spay/neuter services with the ASPCA and other agencies in NYC. The ASPCA accepts TNR certification from the following agencies:
Please visit our TNR page for more information.
