2010 Highlights

  • Hosting no less than seven fee-waived and lowered-fee adoption events and promotions, Asheville Humane Society adopted out a total of 1,726 animals in 2010.
  • In 2010, the Humane Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinics altered 6,473 animals from Buncombe County.
  • The Buncombe County partners more than doubled their countywide Trap-Neuter-Return efforts, impacting 1,339 trapped, neutered and returned felines in 2010.
