Mr. Bigglesworth

Cat’s Best Friend

Mr. Bigglesworth

Jesse Spruill adopted a dog about five years ago, but this year he decided the pup needed a companion. In an unusual move, he adopted a cat to keep his canine company.

I adopted a little guy named Abraham on May 19, 2012, from the ASPCA. I have a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, Sammie, who needed a friend. I looked at a ton of cats, and I chose Abraham because he was the one I made an emotional connection with. When I saw him I said, right off the bat, "He's the one!"

I changed his name to Mr. Bigglesworth because he's always getting into something, as cats do.

He has made my life so much richer than it already was. Mr. Bigglesworth and Sammie are really a great match! It makes me want to cry when I see Biggles clean my dog or the two of them just cuddled up together like old friends.

I can't imagine my life without him now. My favorite thing about Biggles is that he is always with me. It's like he wants to keep an eye on me. My own personal shadow! He has enriched my life along with my roommates’, and they can't get over the fact that he just fits in perfectly at our house.

Thank you for all that you do. Another one of your animals has changed my life!
